DOUG STEINY Agent Biography My business practice has been to focus on my client and their property rather than self promotion. Rather than go on and on about the dozens of awards, etc. I have outline some history and accomplishments.
I have been a licensed Realtor in the Carmel area for over 20 years. I have been awarded top production awards every year since 1990. I have worked with and been a top producer with Fox and Carskadon, Coldwell Banker, and the Mitchell Group/Sotheby’s International Realty. In fact I am consistently in the top 10 in production since joining the Mitchell Group/Sotheby’s 7 years ago. Of the 1485 agents in the Monterey County Board of Realtors I am currently ranked #18 in sales production for 2005. My market areas are specifically Carmel and Carmel Valley on the Monterey Peninsula.
In addition to being a committed Realtor, I have also served as an expert witness for Lombardo and Giles Real Estate litigation and arbitration. I was a panel speaker for Coldwell Banker at the Top Producers National Convention on the Subject of Positioning and Negotiating. I was one of the four approved mediators for the Monterey County Board of Realtors and I have successfully mediated dozens of disputes for the Monterey County Dispute and Resolution Center.
I graduated from the Real Estate Institute with extensive continuing and production education in various fields of Real Estate.
I am a 5th generation Californian, born and raised in Carmel Valley.
My past and current clients have included the President of Fox and Carskadon, Clint Eastwood, Dorris Day, Merv Griffin and a large array of local citizens as well as private investors. 90% of my business is from direct referral. 80% of my transactions are representing sellers and I enjoy the reputation in the industry as maintaining high service clients. |
